Our Voice

I think so often
we lose our voice.
Maybe because those around us
scream louder,
or we lose our way.
But we aren’t immortal
the only thing we leave on this earth
is our memory, our legacy
our voice.
Letting someone else take that from you
means you give up on yourself,
on the future.
Don’t ever give up on yourself.
Don’t lose your voice
no matter what happens.
But you have to believe in your voice.
After all, no one will do it for you.
